Keeping the Work On Our Property

October at our Marshfield commercial project brought a challenge.

The original drainage plans called for tapping into the main line — which would have meant tearing up the parking lot, disrupting businesses, and impacting residents. It would have solved the issue, but at a cost to the surrounding community.

Andrew went back to the engineer.

Instead of disturbing what was already functioning, they designed a water capture system — keeping the solution contained entirely on our property. The system collects and manages runoff below grade, protecting the building while avoiding unnecessary disruption.

It’s not the kind of work anyone sees once the project is complete. But it’s the kind of decision that reflects how we believe projects should be handled — thoughtfully, responsibly, and with consideration for the people around them.

Sometimes the best building decisions aren’t about adding something new.

They’re about solving the problem the right way.
